About
I’m Andrew Jackson, a computing science student at Staffordshire University. The view some of my work look at the Portfolio page.
I spent most of my childhood growing up around Newark, Nottinghamshire after moving there when I was 6. I went to Sir William Robertson High School in Lincolnshire and did my GCSEs there before going to Grantham College to do a BTEC in IT.
I was originally on a games programming course so I did a lot of modules on graphics, physics and AI. For my final year though, I switched onto Comuting Science to allow me to do some more generalised modules. I am currently studying security programming and safety critical systems. I have previously done modules in C/C++, Java, C#, concurrency and real time systems.
